Dove & Quail Hunts

The acrobatic dove is a blast to hunt, pun intended! Bring extra shells as these birds become wise to the hunters early in the season. There is an early hunt in September and a later hunt that runs from November through January. There is even a juniors only hunt for the kids put on every September by the AZ Game and Fish Dept. Quail hunting has been improving in recent years thanks to wetter winters (especially 2005) and improving habitat conditions. Hunts take place from sunrise to sunset and are billed on a daily basis.
